Lacquer sanding is a challenging task in furniture production. Achieving a perfect finish requires the right combination of aggregates, abrasives, and programmable sanding parameters. MB Maschinenbau's ROBA Split Belt line leverages years of experience to deliver a machine that meets these high standards. Based on the ROBA Tech philosophy, which emphasizes large sanding areas for optimal results, MB developed the "Split Belt" sanding aggregate. This innovative design combines a wide contact area with dual transport direction capability. The ability to oscillate the split belt up to 30 degrees further enhances performance. In conjunction with MB Superflex brushes, the Split Belt unit, positioned at the machine exit, provides the final finish in the longitudinal direction. To address cross processing needs, two cross belt sanding units are integrated at the machine entrance. These units, each with a 200mm processing width, work in opposite directions to ensure thorough sanding of transversal grooves and longitudinal edges. By combining transverse and longitudinal sanding in a single machine, MB offers a smooth and effective solution for all areas. Optional features include a pressure roller system and a cleaning aggregate for enhanced performance. With its automated sanding capabilities, ROBA Split Belt delivers efficiency and consistency in lacquer sanding applications.
